SE-145 Ground-Fault Ground-Check Monitor
Functions:
- Monitors up to three portable power cables
- Detects ground faults in each cable or connected equipment
- Detects open ground-check loop, and shorted ground-check loop in each cable
Features:
- Zener-characteristic termination assembly provides reliable ground-check-loop verification
- Loop-resistance calibration not required
- LED indication of Ground-Check Trip, Valid, Open, and Short for each cable
- LED indication of Ground-Fault Trip and Sensor Health for each cable
- LED indication of Power and Diagnostic Error
- Exceeds requirements of CSA Standard M421-00 Use of Electricity in Mines with fail-safe ground-fault and ground-check circuits
- Universal power supply accepts a wide range of ac and dc voltages
- Optional 24/48 Vdc power supply
- DFT (harmonic) filter prevents false ground-fault operation
- Low open-circuit ground-check voltage is not a hazard to personnel
- Wide range of ground-fault current and time set points
- Conformally coated circuit boards
- Uses the same termination assembly as the SE-135
- Optional IEEE 802.3 (Ethernet) with Modbus TCP protocol
- Free SE-MON145 PC-interface software
- Five year warranty
Typical Applications:
- Mining, shore-to-ship power, pumps, and cranes
- Used on systems up to 25 kV
- For applications where protection is required only for a single cable, see the SE-134C
System Components:
The SE-145 requires an SE-TA12A-series termination device for each cable. An SE-CS10-series current sensor for each cable is required for ground-fault protection.
