BPU-2A Bearing Protection Unit
Functions:
- Monitors the temperature of two motor bearings.
- Adds bearing-temperature protection to an MPU-16A, or operates as a stand-alone unit.
Features:
- Microprocessor-based unit monitors two bearing RTD's.
- Trip and alarm set points with LED indication.
- User-selectable 100-ohm platinum, 100-ohm nickel, or 120-ohm nickel RTD monitoring.
- Trip or alarm on an absolute temperature or on a temperature differential.
Typical Applications:
This unit monitors motor-bearing temperature in any motor with bearing RTD's.
